Tiny Home Builders in Spartanburg, South Carolina

Andy loves to create and build things. He is passionate about living his dreams and helping others to do the same. He reads. A lot. He has read everything he can find over the years, about smart and innovative building practices and he loves to put all that he has learned into practice! Andy has a degree in construction management and has been either fixing up old houses or building new ones for more than 25 years.

Gina loves to create beautiful things too, whether it’s colorful and healthy dinners for the fam, crocheting or decorating. She loves to think through the most comfortable and practical designs for convenient living and smart storage solutions. Gina is right there by Andy’s side every step of the way from start to finish.

Haeli is 20 and working on creating her own dreams, but in the meantime she is helping us with social media and doing whatever she can, especially painting.

Maya is 17 and is usually busy with online school, but helps whenever we need more hands, like when it comes time to lift a heavy wall!

Our Heart

We’ve always been a family who values experience over wealth and possessions. Travel and experiencing the world outside of the familiar is something we decided on prioritizing for our family from the start. At first, we couldn’t afford to travel, so we brought the world to us through couch surfing in our home. Then slowly, we began to expand our world by small trips to show our girls life beyond Michigan. First we stayed in a small fishing village in Nicaragua and had the time of our lives. Then we took a trip to Rome and Venice and loved that experience too! Finally when we realized that our time with our girls at home was running out, we sold everything, so that we would have the freedom and resources to travel the world for 3 years. We lived in an RV for 2 years experiencing many U.S. National Parks and Mexico. We truly loved living tiny (albeit in a large 5th wheel so that we had privacy and two bathrooms with two growing girls!) Then we sold everything again and cruised across the Atlantic for 2 weeks landing in Europe where we experienced many different cultures in Western Europe, Eastern Europe and Southeast Asia, before coming to South Carolina to finally start the tiny home business we had been dreaming of for 10 years.

We fell in love with the concept of tiny homes a long time ago and have been dreaming of designing and building them for people who want the freedom to travel and take up a little less space on this earth like we do.

Minimalism is what makes these dreams a reality. If you don’t have a high mortgage, you are free to use your money on travel and other valuable experiences. We’re minimalists at heart, and even though we are in a season of life where we still have teens at home, we built our current house as a stretched out tiny with a second floor for our daughters and guests. We built an attached workshop so we can build year round rain or shine without fear of damage to our tiny houses in progress.
